The Impact of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi's Political Thoughton the Atmosphere of the Qom Seminary
Ayatollah Mohammad-Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, as one of the scholars and prominent figures of the Qom Seminary, has engaged in theorizing about the political teachings of the Islamic government in recent decades. This research, using Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi's political theory, a descriptive-analytical method, and Thomas Spragens' crisis theory framework, aims to explain the influence of his political thought on the atmosphere of the Qom Seminary. The claim is that Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi's solutions during the pre-Islamic Revolution era involved leading political-cultural activism through the training of seminary cadres. However, during the Islamic Revolution's rule, his political reasoning was based on a positive approach to political affairs, which, by proposing the political theory of Islam and adopting the discourse of political Islam with a jurisprudential foundation, was organized around rejecting any form of political distortion in the evolutionary path of the Qom Seminary and the Islamic Revolution.
