The strategy of high-rise construction and development at height as a product of population growth and the lack of suitable land for construction has been popular in recent decades in cities of the world, Apartment living can be considered one of the most important developments in the process of human settlement in cities, which has become a form of urban housing in the contemporary era. use of this method has spread to residential and economic uses such as industrial, administrative and commercial uses, and has also expanded to the surrounding areas of the city, this solution has consequences. In this research, the effect of high-rise development on the urban uses of Kerman has been reviewed and appropriate solutions have been presented to organize and reduce the consequences of this phenomenon. The results of the research show that high-rise construction in Kerman has caused a decrease in the open space of residential units per capita, a decrease in the provision of comfort necessary for living, a decrease in green space per capita, better access to urban facilities and services, and an increase in traffic volume.
