Abstract:
Having about 17000 deaths in the country has caused the World Bank to declare the situation of road accidents in our country critical. Human factors are one of the most important reasons. the human factor is the most complex factor of the transportation system because the performance of people in accidents is very different from each other. Therefore, the study of human factor is necessary. in this research by using the interviews of experts and literature review, a questionnaire with 24 questions including factors related to the human factor affecting accidents was prepared and provided to the statistical population, which were high-ranked traffic police officers, After analyzing the results, several strategies were determined to avoid accidents,, then comparing factors related to exogenous variables and endogenous variables, the partial strategies of the plan are obtained. After obtaining the partial strategies, these strategies were reviewed by experts to reach the main strategies by combining, reducing, and proposing new strategies, finally, 14 main strategies were obtained and reordered based on the quantitative strategic planning matrix.
