Investigating the impact of artificial intelligence on knowledge management in modern organizations

In recent years, with the evolution of information technology and artificial intelligence, knowledge management seems more advanced and complex. Because knowledge management is critical to the success of organizations, it has long been studied by numerous researchers from universities and the business sector. Moreover, many leading companies around the world have adopted several knowledge management practices to ensure that they stay ahead of their competitors in today's competitive business world. Hence, companies are still looking for ways to improve their knowledge management practices. Several studies were conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the recent research process of knowledge management processes and its best practices in organizations. However, this issue needs further investigation from other perspectives. Many previous studies have neglected to examine the impact of the application of concepts and techniques of artificial intelligence and information technology on the efficiency of knowledge management in modern organizations. This research has systematically examined the current knowledge management practices that are based on the mechanisms of information technology and artificial intelligence, their effects on modern organizations, and challenges and limitations. The present study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of 15 articles extracted from 844 articles, which have been collected in high-standard journals and conference proceedings during the last 10 years. This research fills some gaps and bottlenecks in the field of knowledge management, especially in studies related to information technology and artificial intelligence.
