Muslim Combatant Women in Palestine and Algeria and the Strategy of Political Movements

Palestinian and Algerian history is filled with epics and self-sacrifices made by combatant women who have played a role in the strategy of continued struggle and are deemed by history, as unique pillars of the era of combat. The spread of Muslim women’s movements in these countries and their active participation in seeking truth are clear examples of activities carried out by women who have, following Islamic teachings and culture, made the revival of Islamic dignity and identity in their homelands as their basic individual and social ideal in life.Written to outline Palestinian and Algerian women’s active participation in social affairs, this paper explains women’s political position in Islam inquiring about its different aspects and referring to outstanding examples in the field, available in these countries.
