Determination of irrigation time of canola Varities (Brassica napus) through leaf relative water content

Abstract:
In order to study and irrigation time determination, of Canola varieties) through leaf relative water content determine the (RWC) an experiment was conducted as factorial in randomized complete block design with two factors, irrigation time (30%,50%,75%RWC)and 3 varieties(Hyola-42,SLM 046,Zarfam)with 3 replications in research farm of Azad Islamic University –Sharyar –Unit- Ghods city in 1385-1386. Grain yield, pod number per plant, 1000-grain weight, oil percent, oil yield and leaf area index were measured. Grain yield was different among varieties. Zarfam and Hyola-42 produced the highest and lowest grain yield, respectively. Irrigation time had significant effect on grain yield. The most grain yield was obtained from 50% leaf relative water content and the least grain yield was observed in 30% (RWC). Irrigation time also affected the pod number per plant and 1000- grain weight. 50% (RWC) produced the maximum pod number per plant and 1000- grain weight the 3 varieties produced the same oil percent, but drought stress reduced oil percent in 30% (RWC) treatment.
