foundations of religious movements in Iran and its effect on the political rights of women

Abstract:
The writers of this article have studied the political rights of women from the point of views of religious movements in Iran, including modernists, traditionalists and Methodists. Modernists accept the political participation of women in every aspect of the society, even her leadership. Traditionalists do not believe in the political participation of women in the society. To prove themselves, they stick to the verses of the Holy Koran and Ahaadith. They also believe that there are differences between the rights of men and women. Methodists accept a license for the political participation of women in the society, but do not consider it as something absolute and unconditional; and believe in some limitations for women and their rights.
