The Role of Soft Power in Expanding Islamic Awakening in Middle-East

Abstract:
Soft power prepares necessary infrastructures for producing national security.The formation of regional developments in the Middle East, in the framework of Islamic awakening movement and looking for identity, is a function of components of influential actors’ soft power in regional and international politics. No doubt, developments in the Middle East are under the influence of a variety of perceptual, analytical and discourse framework. This article is based on the discourse of Islamic identity; A discourse which is based on norm-oriented approaches in structural attitude. So, it can be considered as an effective factor in expanding social revolutions in Middle East. Norm-oriented theories emphasize on discourse structures in social revolutions. Discourse structure is formed gradually and will be on the basis of experiences from other countries.The rise of resistance identity is a symbol of soft power to shape social movements and regional revolutions in the Arab spring.
