An Integrated Framework for Performance Improvement of Gas Industry Based on TQM and SCM Systems

Abstract:
Globalization, increasing the global regulations of governmental and non-governmental organizations and customers’ request regarding to environmental compliance issues have led to organizations considering the green supply chain management to improve the environmental and economic performance. In order to maximize the efficiency of energy consumption and resources across the supply chain, green supply chain management is unifier the supply chain management with environmental requirements in the all processes of product designing, selecting and supplying of raw materials, producing and manufacturing, distribution and transition processes, delivery to the customer and finally, recycling and reusing management after consumption. This paper have studied and recognized the necessary requirements (stimuli, barriers, operations and results) for achieving to green supply chain management in the petrochemical industry. Then, have been extracted the necessary measures to achieve a green supply chain. These measures are prioritized using analytic hierarchy process of weighting and by weighted average method.
