This article used by the students of panther Achievement center for doing their Oral History Projects.PAC indicates panther Achievement Center.Oral History is a part of human history from the time when people can speak with each other.Oral History was the first kind of history in illiterate societies. People transferred the history of their cultures through speaking and reading pomes. The adults told their national stories and fictions the youths.There were some oral histories that became epic poems like Iliad and odes or become religious texts like Mayan or popul vuh.In the past century, historians choose records as scientific bases for approving their theories on past. Interview was some thing that journalists done from professional historians point of view.After the Second World War, Oral History accepted as Valuable Historical source again by sound recording technology's appearance. New technology, methodology and theories recognized the previous way of transferring experience. This manual teaches you how to do Oral history and how to use it for preserving historical heritage.
