A Study of Social-Environmental Factors Affecting the Tendency toward Computer Games in Yazd

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to investigate the effective social and environmental factors and their impact on the tendency to computer games. This study was done through the survey method and to collect data researcher made, questionaire has been used. Our target population is Customers of clubs and game nets in Yazd from whom 195 people are determined as the sample size by Cochran formula and are selected and reviewed via cluster sampling method. Significant relationship between the variables of the impact of the environment of the Club, The impact of peer andneighborhood of the participants with the tendency to computer games are the findings of this review, Also there is not any significant relationship between variables of economic base of respondents, Employment status and the distance between their house and the place they play games and the tendency to computer games. Regression results showed that the two variables of theimpact of club Environment and game nets and the impact of peer with a Correlation rated 0/326 could Explain 9/6 percent Changes of Tendency to computer games. As the result, we can say that Bystanders and Social environment, generally in this study, have a special Impact upon the tendency to computer games.
