Abstract:
The study aims to provide a conceptual framework and to put validation the proposed model of police training in relation with children in Islamic Republic of Iran. Research methodology is questionnaire survey by using methods of data collection and data analysis methods described in the review. In this research, the appropriate classification method has been used. Population of research is 300 persons among which 169 persons have been chosen as a sample by using Cochran formula, based on identified target groups.Conceptual frame work is the adoption of the Action Plan and Charter Standard ISO 10015 implementation steps to train police working with children and juveniles in five steps: assessment, goal setting, planning, implementation and evaluation of training. In order to identify the effective components of training the police, working with children and adolescents by using structural equation modeling, the main components of these five stages are: 1-the main component of assessment, is evaluation and to prepare the best condition for training of police, 2- the main component of the goal setting, is making police services more specialized for children and juveniles, 3- main planning program component, is to provide a comprehensive program of police training, 4- the main component of implementing of police training is to identify training mistakes and ways to fix them, and 5- the most important component of evaluation of training, is data analyzing for evaluation of the police, working with children and juveniles in Islamic Republic of Iran. So, the model has been used in this study has the potential to generalize over the whole country. Theoretical results and findings of the study are: a) developing educational programs for police in both basic and advanced training, and b) foundational steps of training the police, working with children and adolescents.
