An investigation the effects of organizational commitment on turnover intentions with moderate effect of Person-Organization fit

Abstract:
Philosophy of the organization is dependent on human life. Human blow spirit in the body of organization، move and manage it. ensure from the organizational commitment and fit is one of the best ways to attract and retain talented employees and improve business performance for the organization. This study seek to investigate the moderate effect of person- organization fit on the relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention. Method of this study in terms of purpose is applied and base on data collection is descriptive – survey. The population are shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz employees. The sample consisted of 126 employees that random sampling is used to test the hypotheses. Data was collected using standard questionnaire and analyzed with structural equation modeling partial least squares approach. The results indicate moderate effect of quality of person- organization fit on the relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention.
