The analysis of postcolonial Discourse in the novel "Alhzyan Progress" by Ibrahim Nasrallah

Abstract:
Ibrahim Nasrallah, a contemporary Palestinian poet and novelist can be considered a famous and owner of a style writer in anti-colonial and resistance literature. One of his most important works in fiction is "Alhzyan progress" novel. The importance of this novel is due to the author success in challenging the American discourse on democracy and human rights claims, promising a new era of global village with a post-colonial view in line with theorists and critics such as "Edward Said" . He asserts that the result is nothing but increasing the sphere of influence of America in the dominant neo-colonialism postmodern literature and by taking advantage of the most important contemporary events such as Collapse of the World Trade Center, Occupation of Iraq, the death of Muhammad al-Doura, George Bush Presidency and combining the real images of the events of the century and some texts. Ibrahim Nasrallah, referes to increasing awareness among people and strengthening the morale of resistance as the only practical solution to exit and escape from a world dominated by imperialism. This paper attempts to explore and analyze the critical and anti-colonial discourse in Ibrahim Nasrallah's novel "Alhzyan progress.
