Message:
Abstract:
This research aims to assess the relation between strategic intelligence and transformational leadership of middle managers of staff units of national television. For this goal, the theoretical frame work of strategic intelligence capability, presented by State Management Center (2007) had been applied which includes five dimensions of defining current operations, approaching toward forming the future, acquiring the complexity and conceptualization of results, achieving strategic outcomes, and recognition and application of strategic leadership empowerment. Also Bass and Avolio’s theory (1996) on transformational leadership is applied which contains four dimensions of Ideal Influence, Mental Persuasion, Aspiring Motivation, and Personal Issues. In this regard, via designing one primary and five secondary hypotheses, we tried to assess the relation between strategic intelligence and transformational leadership in national television, which takes a strategic and continuously changing nature. Population of this research included 39 middle managers of staff units of national television, selected by adopting Cochrane formula. Analysis of data gathered by questionnaires has shown the significance of relation on the 0.01 level.
