Identifying Factors Influencing Iranian Export Companies Successful Presence in Foreign Markets

Abstract:
First, we try to explain the internationalization strategies and factors influencing Iranian export companies success in foreign markets and then to analyze Polypropylene products exporters and setting priorities of strategies and the main motivations of internationalization Process. The results show that strategies used by manufacturer and export firms are as follows: exporting, foreign direct investments, license strategic alliances and managers main motivations are: sales increasing, short-term profits, long-term profits, technological upgrading, preparation for globalization and global success. Another important finding is that managers with global prospective can gain a sustainable competitive advantage and improve business performance. Relationship between management commitment to the export process and their attitude to the presence in the international markets on the one hand and international performance indicators on the other is the other finding of the present study.
