Exploring the foundations of creating a creative city in areas of Neyshabur city
In the 21st century, cities compete strongly in the framework of the new global economy and each one is trying to attract more opportunities. In new urban development theories, creative city theory states that the creative class is the key to economic growth and wealth of cities, Therefore, cities must create a foundation to attract this class. Despite the actions made in developed countries to use the creative class for the development of cities, But Iran has not been able to use it as it deserves. The city of Neyshabur, as a city with rich history and culture and potential for creativity, was selected as the case study. The purpose of the present study was to measure the foundations of creative class absorption in Neyshabour city. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and with type of practical. it was determined that the creative city consists of two main components of the creative class and Creative class absorption foundations. Therefore, the analysis of the foundations of the creative class absorption in the areas of Neishabour city has been analyzed to ascertain how much the city is willing to absorb the creative class and ultimately create a creative city. The results of the study indicate that the areas of Neishabur have an imbalance in terms of the foundations of the creative class absorption, In such a way that most of the foundations are located in the central areas, which can be an obstacle to becoming Neishabur as a creative city integrated.
