Evaluation of Relationship between DigitalLiteracy and the Quantitative Use of Cybernetic Management Patternin the NationalLibrary and Archives ofthe Islamic Republic of Iran
The aimof thisstudy was to investigatethe role ofdigitalliteracyin thequantitative use ofcyberneticmanagement patternintheNational Library and Archivesof the Islamic Republicof Iran.
This study is practical in terms of objective, andcorrelational survey-descriptive type in terms of methodology. The study population consisted of 97 administrators and officers at the National Library and Archives of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Structural equation modeling using PLS software was employed in order to examine the hypothesis and investigate the causal relations of variables in the study.
Reviewandtest ofthe study’s conceptual modelshowedthe strength ofthe modelto predictvariables. In addition, there is a positivesignificant relationship between the level ofdigitalliteracyand its componentswiththe quantitative useofcyberneticmanagement.
Survivalanddevelopment oflibrariesina complex, dynamicandevolvingenvironment of todayrequiresnew patterns ofmanagementsuch ascyberneticmanagement pattern. However, human resourcesfamiliar withsuchdigital literacyin an age ofrapid technological changesis importantin application of suchmanagementpattern tocreatemanagerswho are familiar with cyberneticmanagementpattern.
