The role of the virtual city in good governance and sustainable tourism development (Case study of District 12 of Tehran)
Nowadays, virtual city is considered as an unmatched solution to urban problems by urban planners and urban managers. The present paper deals with the approach that tourism in the study area has many potentials and can be of particular focus by focusing on the indicators of the virtual city, which contributes to the development of the study area, which is based on the Grounded Theory model. In-depth interviews were conducted with 13 experts and snowball sampling was used. The results of the interviews are categorized into three categories of necessities, barriers, and requirements of the virtual city and are presented at the end of the virtual city mechanism. The results show that tourism virtualization in District 12 of Tehran has not been favorable due to various factors. Therefore, the need for sustainable development in the field of virtual tourism 1-Special and non-permanent (bottom-up planning) look at the area of tourism virtualization of the region 2-Virtual city and tourism if the region's sustainable development requires the environment of the region and To protect the environment’s bio-resources and its cultural heritage.
