Investigation of hydropolitical consequences of controlling Border Rivers in western Iran

Water consumption has continued to rise significantly in recent years due to population growth, urban sprawl, and agricultural development, leading to water crises and disputes between countries over the use of border river water.
In this research, based on the descriptive-analytical approach and using library resources to investigate the hydropolitical messages of controlling the Border Rivers of western Iran has been done.
Due to the existence of fossil and permanent rivers in the west of the country and the need for optimal operation and regulations from other countries, in line with development, economic and agricultural activities, energy supply, environmental problems, etc. to report Iran and Iraq , The need to use water diplomacy is important and rumored that while it helps you and is appropriate from these surface water resources of the country, since the emergence of problems and negative messages to control the western border rivers in various political areas , The economic, social, cultural and biological situation in Iraq has decreased. Be.
The results showed that our country, due to the climatic situation and inadequate distribution of water resources as well as its growth, needs to use the outflow water from the western borders and control the Border Rivers with Iraq in the framework of water negotiation and diplomacy. To do so, in the long run, due to the elimination of tensions and selected problems from the water crisis, the ground for cohesion and convergence of the two countries is possible.
