Promising rereading of the art of designing in the mythical cities of ancient Iran (Case study: Var of Jam and Kangdezh)

In some religions, it is believed that finally a man will appear that free human beings from darkness, oppression, misguidance and sin, and will bring happiness and goodness to the earth and the people with a divine mission. In pre-Islamic Iranian texts, Avesta and Pahlavi, there are direct references to saviors and benefactors, and on the other hand, the world is conquered or renewed by saviors based on ancient Iranian texts, from the first two mythical-ideal cities, named Var of Jam and Kangdezh. So it is stipulated that if the utopian thought is formed in the heart of the promising thought of ancient Iran, can it be said that re-reading the physical, social and semantic principles and concepts of mythical utopias, can be a window to reach the principles and concepts of the promised cities? This research is descriptive, analytical and historical and based on documentary studies. A case study is based on two mythical utopias of pre-Islamic Iran, Var of Jam and Kangdezh. In the present research, the relationship between the promising thought and the idea of ​​utopia in ancient Iran has been studied. Re-reading the three concepts of form, community and meaning in the mythical cities of ancient Iran with the focus on Var of Jam and Kangdezh has expressed a narrative and a semantic origin about the promised cities. The results of the research indicate the presence of promised meanings and concepts in the art of designing the mythical cities of ancient Iran with the focus on Var of Jam and Kangdezh. The findings of this research can be used in the promising rereading in the art of designing the mythical cities of ancient civilizations
