Model of Emotional Divorce Based On The Components Of Early Maladaptive Schemas And Attachment Styles With Emotional Intelligence Mediation
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship emotional divorce based on the components of early maladaptive schemas and attachment styles with emotional intelligence mediation and provide a model for it.
The research method was correlation of sequential exploratory and guided and the statistical population consisted of all married women referring to counseling centers in Tehran city in 2019 over 1854 persons.the Sample size based on Sample Power Software statistical (350 persons) and with a probability of 20% drop in the sample, (372 persons) were selected. sampling method of multi-stage random so that the city of tehran was divided into five regions: north, south, east, west and center) and then five counseling centers were selected from each region and 15 married women were selected from each counseling center, in total, 75 married women were referred from each region to the counseling centers was selected as a sample. the research instruments were Guttman emotional divorce 2008, early maladaptive schemas short-form questionnaire by Young 1988, attachment style scale by Collins and Reed 1990, Baronchr('39')s emotional intelligence 1997.Data were analyzed using SPSS software and structural equation of Smart Pls.
Results showed that model can predict emotional divorce based on attachment style (β=-0/653, P=0/01) and early maladaptive schemas (β=-0/683, P= 0/01) with emotional intelligence mediation and it has a goodness fit. Direct path of attachment style (β=0/704, P= 0/01) and early maladaptive schemas style (β=0/763, P= 0/01) and emotional intelligence (β=-0/674, P= 0/01) on significant emotional divorce and indirect path results show that attachment styles (β=0/691, P= 0/01) and early maladaptive schemas (β=0/734, P= 0/01) with emotional intelligence mediation on emotional divorce had a goog effect size.
In order to create a cohesive and satisfying marital relationship based on cognitive of emotions each couple and modifying the early maladaptive schemas and the kind of couple’s attachment style, they contrasted the intrinsic elements to improve the couplechr('39')s relationships during treatment considerations.
