Evaluation of Literature Review's master's theses of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education Razi University based on the desired structure and content of Literature Review writing in the years2013- 2019
The present study analyzes the research literature review section the five master's theses in the fields of information science and Knowledge, social sciences, psychology, political science and counseling in years 2013 to 2018 of the Faculty of Social Sciences And has provided training at Razi University.
This research is a method quantitative content a applied type, 140 dissertation titles have been reviewed. The tool used in this research, is a checklist. Mean data comparison tests were used to analyze the data.
The findings indicate that, regarding structure in the field, the field of consulting has the highest percentage and the field of political science has the lowest percentage in terms of structure. In terms of content by string, The field of social sciences has the highest percentage and the field of psychology has the lowest score. In structure by year, as research literature reviews get closer to 2018, have performed better, and in content also by year, as we approach the year 2018, performed worse, This means that research literature reviews performed better in 2013 and 2014.The findings also indicate the second place of the field information science and Knowledge among other fields. In this field, in terms structure in terms of year, 2015, and in terms of content, in terms year, 2013 had a better situation among other years.
The results indicate that according to considered criteria, the literature reviews are relatively well structured, but weak in content, and they do not have desired quality.
