Legislative Policy of Iran in Support of Citizenship Rights: Focusing on the right of health equality

The right to equality in health as an important principle that protects civil rights, which is enshrined in the laws of many countries. The bottom line is that despite the importance of the issue and its inclusion in domestic and international law, attention to this right, which plays an important role in promoting public health and public confidence in the government, is very low. It seems that the disregard for the rights of the people in the equality of health and treatment is due to the lack of knowledge of the relevant laws.  Therefore, it is necessary to review those concepts and rules and determine the criminal sanction

Findings indicate that the right to health has been repeatedly mentioned as one of the most important legal issues in laws and regulations. An issue that ignoring it can expose individuals to criminal prosecution.

Equality in providing health services for all people as a fundamental right is one of the most important examples of human rights, which paying attention to it by countries indicates good governance. By investigating Iranchr('39')s legislative policy, it can be seen that although the legislator has enacted provisions on the right to equal health, in practice there are discrepancies and differences in some indicators and the lack of justice in health and inequality in accessing to health services is still high.
