Designing a Model for Measuring the Quality of Educational Services in Education in the Seventh District of Tehran
The quality of educational services has an important role in promoting society. Therefore, the present study was conducted to design a model for assessing the quality of educational services in the seventh district of Tehran.
This study was quantitative in terms of applied purpose and quantitative in terms of implementation method. The study population was managers, deputies, teachers and experts of Tehran's seven education districts in the academic year 2009-2010. The sample size based on Cochran's formula was 385 people who were selected by cluster sampling method. Data were collected by a researcher-made questionnaire (39 items) whose content validity was confirmed by experts and the validity of its structure was confirmed by exploratory factor analysis and its total reliability was calculated by Cronbach's alpha method of 0.76. Exploratory factor analysis and structural equation modeling in SPSS-23 and LISREL-8.8 software were used to analyze the data.
The results of exploratory factor analysis showed that the model of measuring the quality of educational services had five factors: organizational management, organizational structure, human resources, comprehensive planning and quality management. The results of structural equation modeling showed that the model for measuring the quality of educational services had a good fit and all five factors had a direct and significant effect on measuring the quality of educational services (P <0.001).
According to the results of the present study, to improve the quality of educational services, programs can be designed and implemented to increase and improve the management of the organization, organizational structure, human resources, comprehensive planning and quality management
