The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of mineral therapy on stress tolerance, self-control, flexibility, cognition, staff, command staff and Naja.

Method

The research method was quasi-experimental (pre-test, post-test with control group) and the statistical population included all employees of the NAJA headquarters. Using purposive sampling method, 40 employees in the experimental group and the control group The sample of data were selected. Data collection tools were three questionnaires: Simmons and Gahr Anxiety Tolerance, Tanji Self-Control and Dennis and Vanderwall Cognitive Flexibility and then a post-test. The validity of the tool, despite being standard, has been confirmed in terms of content and expert opinion. The reliability of the tools was obtained using Cronbach's alpha for cognitive flexibility of 0.90, distress tolerance of 0.79 and self-control of 0.85. SPSS23 software was used to analyze the data.

Results

The results of multivariate analysis of covariance showed that in pre-test, post-test and follow-up test, the highest mean was in the self-control variable of experimental and control groups. Also, in pre-test, post-test and follow-up test, it was the lowest score in the distress tolerance variable. It is noteworthy that after completing the treatment protocol and holding training classes, the most changes in the self-control variable was 96%.

Conclusion

Semantic therapy method had an effect on all three variables of anxiety tolerance, self-control and cognitive flexibility to the extent that the effect of the treatment protocol of the present research method on self-control variable was greater than the variables of flexibility and anxiety tolerance.
