The role of communication skills urban Managers of Organizational Citizenship Behavior Staff (Case Study of Karaj Municipality)
Communication skills for managers in order to realize the goals of the organization is fundamental in the study of human behavior and identifying, That can provide the background organization citizen behavior improvement staff. In this regard, the present research is aimed at developing the role of the urban communication skills for managers on organization citizen behavior of employee's municipality of Karaj.
The research method was analytic cross-sectional descriptive-type and data has been collected in library studies and survey methods. To analyze the data in the statistical analysis of the descriptive section has used from the maximum and minimum frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics were used in correlation tests, ANOVA Linear regressions multivariate. The Statistical population of this research are all employees of Karaj Municipality and it was found that a sample size of 150 individuals as targeted samples.
Research showed that no significant relationship exists between communication skills and organizational citizenship behavior on confidence level 99%, also among the independent variables, variables Positivness skills and Self-Control skills had no effect on the dependent variable and other factors (Self-Disclosure skills, Empathy skills, social skills and Supportiveness skills) under variable affect your organizational citizenship behavior with different coefficients.
Municipal managers should pay special attention to strengthening communication skills indicators and encourage their employees to show more interest in participation and responsibility in organizational life.
