Criminology, socio-cultural requirements, missions and functions of the police force of the Islamic Republic of Iran
The law enforcement agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran carry out strategic and effective missions from a security and judicial perspective. This research, which is written by descriptive-analytical method and using research sources as well as interdisciplinary research approach, seeks to meet the socio-cultural requirements, missions and strategic functions of NAJA with a criminal point of view. Up-to-date insights about society, learning the scope of operations, striving to protect civil rights, and a commitment to protecting the achievements of the Islamic Revolution are among the most important social and cultural requirements of the NAJA. The protection of citizens’ rights, activism in the National Crime Prevention Program, as well as the display of various criminological and victimcognitive capabilities is some of the most important components of the NAJA socio-cultural requirements in society. The emergence of lasting security in society, good criminal management, as well as maximizing public trust in the police and its social capital are also among the most important criminal achievements of NAJA socio-cultural requirements in society. The results of this study showed that the attention of NAJA actors in various levels of command and operations to social and cultural requirements can bring important criminological achievements to society and lead to the realization of important documents such as the declaration of the second step of the revolution.
