Willingness to pay and Estimation of Economic Value of Sports venues in Tabriz
Sport facilities which are generally non-price pricing functions, an important step towards the development of sports industry is correct economic decisions.
The present study is an applied and descriptive-analytical research and has been conducted in the field. The present study examined the sport complexes of Takhti Stadium, Mirdamad and Manzarieh in tabriz. The statistical population consisted of those who referred to the gym, based on Morgan table, 384 persons were selected by stratified random sampling. The research tool was the people's willingness to pay Bidaram et al. (2017) Contingent valuation method was used to investigate the research questions by means of SPSS version 20 and Eviews version 9 software.
The results showed that the average willingness to pay for sports facilities in Baghshamal, Manzarieh and Mirdamad areas were: 47/44910Tomans, 52/ 34043Tomans and 42/15,000 Tomans respectively. Also, the total value of the tendency to pay for sports activities is 95087796 Tomans, Mirdamad for 59039520 Tomans and 60696000 Tomans in one year.
Geographical location and the presence of experienced trainers are the reasons for the increased willingness to pay.
