Intersemiotics Study of Death- Life as the Superplots in Jamshid/ Yama Myth and the Contemporary Persian

One of the most prominent mythological themes is the concept of immortality, which has entered the structure of modern stories, especially novels, as a masterplot. In Indo-Persian mythology, the story of Yame / Jam is based on the mythical theme. The Yame / Jam narrative is based on the semantic squares of "death", "life", "no death" and "no life". In study, based on the hypothesis that the death / life superstar in contemporary Persian novels is systematized based on their intertextual relationship with the myth of Jam / Yameh, first the semantic square of death / life of each novel is presented and then its intertextual relationship with the myth of Jam / Yameh has been studied based on the theory of intertextuality and discourse systems. The result of the study shows that according to the myth of Yameh / Jam, two types of confrontation with death in action, state and existence are the human subjects of contemporary Persian novels. Hence, some characters in novels such as Suvshun, Hirani, Salmargi, such as Yameh, surrender to death by passing from activism to Moderable, and achieve eternal life in a sensory-perceptual system by perceiving the joy of death. But some other subjects of the novel Kingdom, Blood Fortune-telling, and Keydr, like Jam, with an anti-death act, strive to reach eternal life, and in the process of state, they experience fear and anxiety, and finally, in the Shushi system, they are subdued to death
