Abstract:

John Hick and David Griffin are philosophers who have dealt with the problem of evil and offered solutions to it. Hick believes that God created man in the beginning of creation, imperfect and immature, But the requirement of human perfection and maturity is the acquisition of spiritual and moral virtues through dealing with evil this leads to the his soul Making. One of the most important tools for achieving this goal is Free will which has been granted to man by God. Of course, Hick believes that the full realization of this is in the afterlife. Griffin believes that evil in the world stems from God's benevolence (creativity) Because, this goal of God guarantees that he That she motivates the creatures of the world to experience superior and exciting values Otherwise, the world will be devoid of heresy and novelty and therefore triviality But since the power of these creatures, including humans, is inherent They can oppose God's purpose This causes evil to appear in the world. Griffin also postpones the final victory of good over evil by God into the afterlife.
