The effectiveness of self-compassion training on cognitive flexibility, resilience and difficulty in emotion regulation in the wounded of the armed forces of the imposed war.
The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of self-compassion training on cognitive flexibility, resilience and difficulty in emotional regulation in the armed forces injured in the imposed war and the statistical population of the study includes the armed forces injured in the imposed war, referring to the hospitals of the armed forces. Tehran city was armed in the second half of 1400, when using the available sampling method, 30 people were selected and randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups (15 people in each group). To collect information, cognitive flexibility questionnaires (Dennis and Vanderwaal, 2010), resilience questionnaire (Connor and Division, 2003) and emotion regulation difficulty questionnaire (Gratz and Roemer, 2004) were used. Self-compassion training was performed on the experimental group in 8 sessions of 90 minutes. Multivariate analysis of covariance test was used to analyze the data.The results have shown that group counseling with a self-compassion approach is effective on cognitive flexibility, resilience and difficulty in regulating the emotions of the armed forces injured in the imposed war (p<0.05).
