Identifying Strategies for Promoting Pedagogical Wisdom in Universities and Higher Education Centers
The goal of this study was to find strategies to promote pedagogical knowledge in Universities and Higher Education Centers.
The current study took a qualitative approach, relying on the Strauss and Corbin Foundation's (2007) data theory strategy and the use of open, axial, and selective coding methods with Maxqda software for data analysis to evaluate the strategies for promoting pedagogical wisdom in Iran's higher education system. Data was collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with 16 higher education specialists and managers with relevant life experiences, as well as the usage of theoretical targeted and snowball (chain) sampling to meet the theoretical saturation point.
Based on the findings, strategies (Higher Education Gamification, Issue Learning, Critical Thinking, Pedagogical Life and Debate, Mentoring, Romantic Teaching and Reverse Learning in Higher Education, Pure Academic Administration, Academic Agility, Student Relationship Management, Open Innovation and Scientific Freedom in Higher Education) for promoting pedagogical wisdom in the Iranian higher education system were identified.
Conclusion:
Summarizing the results of this study, it can be said that this research provides a basis for those involved in the higher education system for future decision-making with a focus on pedagogical wisdom.
