Narrators of Ghadir Hadith in Ruhba of Kufa Mosque
Ruhba in mosque of Kufa is one of the most important testified places (Munashadah) related to Imam Ali regarding the Ghadir Event. Since the Ghadir Event is one of the most important events in the history of Islam, in which the Messenger of God introduced Ali as his successor, Amir al-Mu’minin asked for testimony from the companions who were present in that event on several occasions and they testified that on the day of Ghadir Khum from the Prophet Muhammad, they heard him say: "Whoever I am the Mawla of, Ali is his Mawla." One of the most important cases in which Imam Ali took the Companions as a witness was in Ruhba Mosque of Kufa, which is called Munashadah (means to make a request for the sake of God). The importance of the issue is in citing this event and proving the reliability of Ali’s succession from the Prophet. This article introduces the narrators of this event through a descriptive and analytical method and deals with this issue by referring to various sources. The point of the article is to introduce more narrators and witnesses than what is mentioned in Al-Ghadir, here 23 narrators and more than 28 witnesses are mentioned. Contrary to the popular opinion that it was the year 35 (AH), it is claimed that the time of the event as well as Munashadah has been the end of the year 36.
