Investigating the effect of empowerment and teamwork on employee satisfaction in the Maritime Welfare Services Institute of the Islamic Republic of Iran
The aim of the present research was to investigate the effect of empowerment and team work atmosphere on the satisfaction of the employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Welfare Services Institute. The research method in this descriptive study is of correlational type, and the statistical population of the employees of the mentioned units is 150 people, and 108 people were selected as a sample with the help of Morgan's table and simple random sampling method with proportional allocation. The data collection tool included Golabchi's employee empowerment questionnaire (2013) with a reliability of 0.847, Joe Timi Liang et al.'s (2010) questionnaire with a reliability of 0.7, and Smith et al.'s job satisfaction questionnaire (1969) with a reliability of 0.84. Also, face and content validity have been used to measure the validity of the questionnaires. The method of data analysis was done using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (including: Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and regression test with the help of SPSS software. The findings of the research indicated that empowering employees with the components of self-efficacy, , personal acceptance of results, trust) and teamwork atmosphere have an effect on the satisfaction of the employees of the Shipping Welfare Services Institute of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
