Investigating the relationship between career motivation and emotional creativity with self-esteem of primary teachers in Gachsaran city
The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between job motivation and emotional creativity with self-esteem of primary teachers in Gachsaran city Was.
The current research method is a correlational description, and the population studied in this research was 1253 primary teachers of Gachsaran city. The sample size in this research was 330 people based on the table of Karjesi and Morgan. In order to collect information, Herzberg's (2015) career motivation questionnaires, Avril and Thomas Knowles' (1991) emotional creativity, and Rosenberg's (2010) self-esteem questionnaires were used. Correlation matrix and regression analysis were used to analyze the obtained data.
The results show that there is a correlation between job motivation and emotional creativity with self-esteem and this correlation is significant because it is less than 0.05. The results of the step-by-step regression analysis of the table showed that job motivation explained more than 0.659% of the variance of emotional creativity and the variable of emotional creativity explained 0.841% of the common variance of self-esteem, in other words, the predictor variables (job motivation on emotional creativity) are able to predict the variable of self-esteem.
The general conclusion of the research showed that by strengthening job motivation and emotional creativity among teachers, it is possible to help improve their self-esteem in schools.
