Abstract:

Within the last few years, serious steps have been taken to preserve natural resources, animals, fresh air, earth and water for the sake of environmental crises. Meantime, the literary society has taken steps and it has used tried to tempt people to be friend with nature and preserve the nature through its emotions and imagination. Notably, children's literature has an outstanding role in this regard because the child's character is not developed yet and his character can be trained. Henceforth, poetry and literature can penetrate into his mind to teach him necessary environmental trainings. Since children only rely on their observations, they have not been dealt with abstract concepts, they see their surrounding and nature much better than others. Thus, the poems describing the green environment can directly or indirectly affect them. Regarding the green and rich environment of Kurdistan, there is a high frequency and redundancy of poems with themes describing nature. The moral and behavioral themes are in the shadow of these poems. In most of Kurdish children's poems, nature is present as character, setting, theme, motif and the main subject in this research, we chose two prominent poets in this field and compared their poems and concluded that the theme of nature and preserving it is redundant and frequent in their poems. In their poems, the relationship between human and nature (child and animal) is either through teaching, and a manner of behavior that is full of motherly compassion and care, or through advice and guidance that directly points out the issues. These issues are uttered in such a way that they learn the nature. It is actually a precious capital, and human and nature are alongside each other, and human is not the owner and superior of nature, and he cannot treat it as he wants, and he should not be monopolistic, and he should leave this precious heritage undamaged to the forthcoming generations.
