The Importance of Rules and Regulations Outside of Prisons in Criminal Policy for Acceptance in the Spheres of Legitimacy and Acceptability within the Governing Political System.

The crucial elements for establishing and ensuring the proper functioning of essential governance structures are legitimacy and acceptance, extensively studied by scholars in the field of political science. This research aims to investigate the impact of rules and regulations outside of prisons on the legitimacy and acceptance required for established governance, contrasting with the traditional functioning of prisons and its adverse effects on this governance sphere. Insufficient attention to the fundamental requirements and needs of individuals, coupled with neglecting supportive patterns based on an open social system and reform and education, creates a path towards the non-acceptance and legitimacy of individuals under the scrutiny of the criminal justice system. The present research utilized a descriptive and analytical methodology. Inspired by an approach contrary to formalistic legalism, the institution of caring for criminals outside of prisons was examined, emphasizing the groundwork for social reintegration and the effective political legitimacy of the system. This analysis recognizes the trend of imprisonment aligned with a dry formalist and tradition-oriented perspective in criminal policy, identified as a factor contributing to the acknowledgment of non-acceptance and legitimacy.
