Development of knowledge city as a smart growth strategy of Shiraz metropolis

The growing trend of globalization and the formation of knowledge-based economy and the increasing importance of the spatial dimension of knowledge production, sharing and use, reinforces the idea that the competitiveness of cities depends on the production, sharing and use of knowledge in the urban economy. Be, has been. As a result, urban areas, which are the main centers for the development of knowledge-based economy, are changing with dynamic processes of spatial and economic restructuring. This research is qualitative in nature, methodological, descriptive-analytical and applied in terms of purpose. To collect the required data, the documentary-library study method as well as the statistics of 2016 were used. In this regard, by Delphi method, by purposeful sampling, the views of 30 experts and experts related to the research topic were used to collect quantitative and evaluated data in line with the explanatory variables of the research and to advance the research goals and questions in the form of priorities. Factors of knowledge-based development and intelligent growth in Shiraz metropolis, AHP hierarchical analysis process model in Expert Choice software environment has been used. Based on the results of hierarchical analysis, the effective factors are prioritized according to which the socio-cultural factor with a weight of 0.295 in the first rank, the economic factor with a weight of 0.225 in the second rank, the institutional-managerial factor with a weight of 0.187 in the rank Third and urban environment factor with a weight of 0.156 are in the last rank.
