Examining the role of the moderator of emotional intelligence on the relationship between mental health and job performance (case study: General Administration of Technical and Vocational Education of Hamadan province)
Managers of today's organizations face many challenges, but perhaps one of the most important and basic of them is; increase the performance of employees. The ability to increase productivity and strengthen organizational effectiveness depends on many aspects. In this context, the importance of mental health and emotional intelligence in employees cannot be ignored, because according to studies, these two factors are known as central factors in the effort to improve job performance, and organizations can focus on development and promotion. These vital components pave the way to achieve your overall goals and dreams. The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the moderating role of emotional intelligence on the relationship between mental health and job performance of employees. The data was collected from a sample of 100 employees of the Technical and Vocational Education Department of Hamadan province using a standard questionnaire and the hypotheses were tested using SmartPLS software and based on structural equations with a partial least squares approach. The results indicate that emotional intelligence moderates the relationship between mental health and job performance of technical and vocational education workers in Hamadan province. In addition, it was shown that there is a positive and significant relationship between mental health and job performance of technical and vocational education staff in Hamadan province; Therefore, at the end, some suggestions were presented in order to improve these components.
