Education in Farabi's Philosophical Thoughts
One of the intellectual concerns of Muslim sages has always been to deal with the philosophy of politics, Shahriari religion and the search for a desirable society, and an important part of the philosophical works produced by Muslims is devoted to the reflection of their philosophical thoughts about society. The first philosopher in the Islamic world who raised independent and systematic discussions about the ideal society and its components and authored several works about it is Farabi. For this reason, he has been called the founder of Islamic and political philosophy in the Islamic world. The utopia of Farabi is full of educational words. In Farabi's opinion, education and training is discussed in the practical wisdom section and the subcategory of Madinah politics. The purpose of the current research is education and training in Farabi's intellectual system.
The research method is qualitative content analysis and inference (practical analogy). This means that based on Frankena's inference model, principles have been extracted from the juxtaposition of goals and principles, which lead to the adoption of educational methods. The analysis community has been a collection of books, descriptions and articles about Farabi's philosophy, which has been purposefully sampled and studied in depth based on the categories of research, and the resulting data has been continuously analyzed simultaneously with the collection of information and Analysis has been done.
The results showed that according to Farabi's value theory, the most important goals of moral education are: knowledge and faith in God, closeness to God, happiness, thinking and reflection, rationality and moderation. Farabi considers educated people to be the basis for creating a "Utopia" where its inhabitants live in complete happiness and prosperity. Under the shadow of correct education, people are ready to create a utopia where happiness cannot be achieved except through its realization.
In the shadow of correct education, people are ready to create a utopia, which is not possible to achieve happiness except through its realization. The plan of this kind of education and training and, as a result, happiness on the part of Farabi is rooted in his philosophical views, and due to its ideality and abstraction, it makes its achievement somewhat out of reach.
