Identifying the Geographical Factors of Detecting Smuggling of Goods in the Maritime Borders of Bushehr Province
In recent years, the issue of smuggling goods and strategies to combat it has been one of the most important economic challenges in the country's main economic plan and has been on the agenda of governments. Due to the complexity and nature of the crime of smuggling of goods and the existence of some problems in the process of investigation and its discovery, especially in access to documents and documents, the process of detecting the crime of smuggling of goods is very important and prominent.
The research is descriptive-correlational in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the study consisted of all the employees of the Bushehr Provincial Road Police, of which 238 people were selected as the sample based on Cochran's formula. Confirmatory factor analysis was used with the help of AMOS and LISREL software to test the hypotheses.
The component of increasing supervision in the entrance channels and its dimensions (increasing supervision at the provincial level and geographical information at the provincial level) mean more than 3.000, and the significance level is less than 0.05. The component of preventing the entry of smuggled goods was more than 3.000, and the significance level was less than 0.05.
The results showed that supervision at the provincial level on the entry of smuggled goods, monitoring of the entry channels of smuggled goods, and geographic information are effective in detecting the detection of smuggling of goods in Bushehr province.
