The Relationship between Police Ethical Chart and Ensuring the Order and Security of Community

Abstract:
This study aims at explaining the relationship between the indicators of police ethical chart and the order and security of community. This study is of a survey type and it has been conducted in cross-correlational method and the most important indicators of police ethical chart and ensuring the order and security of community were analyzed using Pearson correlation test. The sample population is all of the I.R.I Police administrative staff. Random sampling was done using Morgan table and the number of statistical samples are 150 members. The data collection instrument was a 40-item questionnaire that was measured on the range of Likert measurement. The findings showed that there is a negative correlation between crimes and job violations of I.R.I Police staffs and providing order and security in community; this means that by increasing the number of crimes and police job violations, the community’s order and security is reduced. There is a positive relationship between the rule of law, police accountability, planning and appropriate management of I.R.I Police authorities, personnel occupational health, confidentiality, respect for citizens’ rights, conscientious, police service and providing the order and security in community. It means that by reinforcing these principles in police personnel, the community’s order and security can be promoted and ensured.
