Author(s):
Abstract:
Studying two categories of speech dissonance and successive complements as the defects speech's eloquence defects, indicates that these two factors have not kept pace with the features of Persian literature and since other aspects of Persian rhetoric is roots from Arabic rhetoric and rhetoricians usually provided false examples without considering the mentioned issue; examples not only had not any problem but also comprised of literary devices. In Arabic rhetoric this is of great importance and some senior literary writers do not have a positive opinion on the subject of repetition of the letters; rhetoricians too usually reprimand such a thing and have talked about speech dissonance. Successive complement is not an exception to such weakness and most Arabic books of rhetoric is accompanied with shallow perspective. The present study, in addition to the opinions of various literary men, analyzes the place of the two issues in Persian and Arabic rhetoric and believes that discussion of such issues requires a deeper and more disciplined attention to avoid similar subheadings which is an evidence of heedlessness of the characteristics of a language and prevent giving wrong examples.
