Identifying the causes of refusal of international research cooperation in the country's higher education system
The aim of this study was to synthesize the literature related to international research collaborations in order to identify the factors for refusing international research collaborations in higher education in the country. This research is applied in terms of purpose and has been done with a qualitative method beyond composition. The statistical population is all studies conducted between 2001 and 2017. In this regard, 69 researches on the subject were evaluated and finally 25 articles were selected purposefully and by analyzing the content and composition of the relevant literature, a total of 119 codes, 15 concepts, 8 key categories were identified and analyzed during the search process and systematic composition of texts. And its validity was confirmed through the Cope Cohen test. The results showed that the most important key refusal factors identified included: political factors; Cultural; Structural; policy; Communication and Information Technology; Financial infrastructure, space and equipment; Individuals and factors related to the foreign language. This study, because it provides an in-depth understanding of the existing literature on the subject of research by identifying the causes of refusal of international research collaborations, can be used in higher education policies to expand international research collaborations in higher education.
