The Impact of Citizenship Rights and Responsibilities on Social Security in Society
Recognizing and assessing the status of citizenship rights and responsibilities in relation to social security in today's Iranian society is the concern and issue of this study. Therefore; This study was conducted with the aim of "the effect of citizenship status and responsibilities on social security in society."
In this research, the type of research is quantitative and the method used in this research is survey. The statistical population of the study is the experts working in the Islamic Azad University of Tehran South and North Tehran and the municipalities of the 4th and 7th districts of Tehran. Using cluster sampling method, a sample size of 120 people was selected. The research data were analyzed in the descriptive part using the mean test and in the inferential part using the Smart PLS software (confirmatory factor analysis test, t-significance test, Cronbach's alpha, combined reliability and convergent validity). has taken.
The average dimensions of citizenship responsibilities (2.51), citizenship rights (2.50) and social security (2.505) in society are lower than average. Also, the highest average among the components related to the dimension of citizenship rights belongs to cultural rights and the dimension of citizenship responsibilities is the political responsibilities of citizens. The effect of citizenship dimension with beta value (0.59) and t-test value (3.79) at the level of 99% confidence on social security is significant. The dimension of citizenship responsibilities with a beta value (0.37) and t-test (2.26) at the level of 95% confidence has a significant effect on social security. also; The two variables of citizenship rights and responsibilities together with the standard beta value (0.89) predict the social security variable.
Low civil rights and citizenship responsibilities challenge the possibility of achieving social security in society. Those in charge of creating order and security, especially the police, should be at the community level.
