Examining the effect of external motivation on the attitude, desire and behavior of information security knowledge sharing(ISKS) with the facilitating role of Trendis model (case study of the Ministry of Defense)
It is very difficult to carry out the activities of the organization without sharing knowledge. If the knowledge hidden in the minds of individuals cannot be shared with others, it will gradually accumulate in the mind of the individual and make the organization disadvantaged and deprived. The current applied research was carried out with the aim of determining the influence of external motivation on the attitude, desire and behavior of information security knowledge sharing with the facilitating role of Trendis model.
This research is a description of correlation type. The statistical population was made up of the employees of the Ministry of Defense and the non-probability sampling method was available and the sample size was calculated as 103 people based on Cochran's formula. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire that was re-validated by verifying composite reliability and Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to 0.926 and verifying content validity and convergent and divergent construct validity.
By using two software "PLS" and "SPSS" in data analysis, the results showed: the motivation to gain fame and promotion as extrinsic motivations on employees' attitude towards ISKS has an impact. Perceived attitude and behavioral monitoring were also effective on the desire to ISKS and the desire to ISKS on the behavior of ISKS.Organizational support and trust were also effective as facilitating factors on ISKS behavior.
