Investigating the Relationship Life Expectancy and Fear of Corona Virus among Working People
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between life expectancy and fear of Corona virus among employed people. The statistical population included employed and studying people in Islamic Azad University, electronic unit in 2020 and the statistical sample included 270 employed people who were selected by convenience sampling method. Findings showed that life expectancy was significantly but inversely related to fear of coronavirus in the sense that with increased fear of Covid-19; Life expectancy decreases. In general, according to the findings of the present study, the epidemic of Covid-19 can seriously affect life expectancy. Continued monitoring of life expectancy in Iran and around the world provides valuable evidence on the impact of the overall epidemic on mortality. In addition, due to the fact that the data were collected only in the third peak and it was not possible for researchers to collect samples in the first and second peaks, so it was not possible to compare life expectancy levels during the three peaks, so it is recommended in future research. This comparison should be done. Therefore, these estimates can be considered conservative.
